TMMi Cetification

Software testing has become a must for most customers within the more recent years. It ensures that the delivered product meets the customer's expectations. The Test is now a recognized profession, which, as shown in previous trainings, is now certifying for each employee.

To guarantee the quality of software or IS and to ensure the competitiveness of its company, we rely on many norms and standards:

  • IEEE,
  • ISO,
  • ISTQB and
  • REQB.

To this must be added the knowledge and the sharing of good and bad practices implemented on the projects of the ISD, in order to keep a link with "the ground" and not to isolate itself in a theoretical knowledge.

However, it is most important to invest in a controlled way, which in other words means having an accurate vision of both the progress and benefits achieved in relation to a precisely identified as well as measurable initial situation or targeted situation.
In this context, the TMMI (Test Maturity Model Integration) repository remains the safe bet when it comes to developing Action Plans specifically tailored to the desired levels, which incorporate indicators in order to measure return on investment and profitability.

Why the TMMi Model

  • It is independent of any company and has, officially and transparently, the maturity levels of certain organizations as well as the list of professionals authorized to conduct audits.
  • It is structured, in a similar way to the CMMI model, which makes it easy to comprehend.
  • It applies to all types of developmental cycles because, focusing on efficiency, it will not look for predefined document templates or models but effective practices in a given context instead.
  • It is reproducible, within the same company but also from one company to another, making it possible to make comparisons of maturity between different Test organisms.
  • It covers the whole Testing field but also the related fields such as Test Management and relations between MOA and MOE.
